Seriously

School started for teachers last Monday and I have enjoyed getting back into the swing of things. I like setting up my room and planning new lessons. The District also has a new integrated information system with all our grades, attendance, student info, etc. It is actually a really good program...

However, we have to do 6 hours of training to learn how to use the program. Nevermind that I've been using the program all week without a hitch without doing any training. But it's mandatory. It's monitored. And it is so insulting.

I've spent the last two hours watching riveting videos showing me how to use a dropdown menu, how to navigate to the home page, how to check my email with the button that says "Webmail", and how to print in Adobe. It is seriously going to drive me to break our new "Don't Eat Dessert Until Saturday" rule. And the rule just went into effect yesterday.
